Growing vegetables is what we're best at. We've been doing it for 18 years and its what we love doing.
As has been the case for farmers throughout history, we find that doing it right doesn't leave a lot of time for anything else. But we don't think that's a bad thing. It's our sole focus and - by being streamlined - our aim is always to increase our output and yield in a responsible way.
While other box schemes have diversified into other areas (recipe-books, cookery courses and other worthwhile community projects), we have decided that we best serve our customers by directing all our time and energy into farming. This way we can consistently provide our customers with the freshest and best quality organic produce in Bristol.
We are based in the historic walled garden at Leigh Court Farm but we farm almost 30 acres of high yielding certified Organic land in the Abbots Leigh, Failand and Portbury areas.
Leigh Court Farm believes that building a successful and profitable business that utilises the latest in innovative field-machinery, strives to always grow more vegetables, creates jobs and provides great quality produce is an excellent way to create an enterprise that is truly sustainable for the future.
